Multi-Family Office and Corporate Advisory
A South African multi-family office and corporate advisory group serving families, shareholders and the boards of established enterprises.
We give families and privately held enterprises the structure that capital, continuity and good decisions depend on.
BlackLeaf was founded in 2024 by Daniel du Toit and Talita Clarke. We bring corporate advisory, transactions, family office coordination and fiduciary administration under one roof, so that the structure behind a family’s wealth and the structure behind its business are designed together.
Our clients are families, founders and the boards of mid-market South African enterprises. Most come to us at a moment of change: a raise, a sale, an acquisition or a generation preparing to step back.
Bridging the gap between corporate ambition and family preservation.
Traditional advisory firms treat the business on its own, focusing solely on the transaction. Traditional wealth managers treat capital on its own, focusing solely on the yield. Neither designs the structure that holds the two together.
We architect both together. By integrating our divisions, a liquidity event for the business translates into a protected, governed structure for the family’s future generations.
Our structure, leadership, approach and sectors.

- 01
Structure before capital
Financiers decline on structure far more often than on yield. We put the architecture right first, so that every entity is defensible.
- 02
One accountable team
Advisory, family office and fiduciary work is coordinated by one team under one roof, not passed between disconnected firms.
- 03
Undivided counsel
Our advice serves one party only: the client who appoints us. We never act for both buyer and seller in the same transaction.
- 04
Discretion as standard
Transaction information is shared only under a signed non-disclosure agreement. Data rooms are controlled and monitored.
Architects behind enduring family and corporate wealth.
